K-Love is going to have a baby cousin!

That's right...Eli is going to be a big brother! And Caleb is going to pass down the title of "baby cousin". Congratulations to Travis, Lissa & Eli! Our new baby is due to arrive on March 20, 2010...We can't wait!

Back to Life, Back to Reality!

The first day Caleb spent at Ms. BB's was so tough as you can tell by his face. I was pleasantly surprised how well I handled the return to work yesterday. Thank you guys for your prayers... they made all the difference!
Caleb & his Daddy really have it rough!
I am so thankful for the great time off that I got to spend with Caleb...what a precious gift! I have been so spoiled by it!

Caleb & Laken were so good to let their mamas spend some time at the pool!

Eli comforts his baby cousin!

Caleb is blessed to have Eli around to sing "Jesus love me" to him when he is upset. What a comforting thought for all of us to remember when we are upset...He loves us indeed!

Two Month Doctor Visit!

Caleb had his two month check-up today with Dr. Fife. He now weighs 12pounds 10ounces and is 24inches long...putting him in the 75th percentile for both weight & height. And we thought he was going to be petite! (totally kidding) He got four vaccinations today and took them like a champ! Dr. Fife says he is looking really good...praise the Lord!

Caleb is 2 months old...and his mom is behind on postings!

These past two months have flown by & parenthood is better than John & I could have ever imagined! Caleb has mastered the art of flashing a big smile and cooing at us when we talk to him...what fun! He is finally growing a little hair on the front of his head in order to try to look more like a baby than a little old man. He is really growing, weighing in at a whopping 12pounds now! We are looking forward to more fun in the months to come!

Happy Fourth of July! We are thankful to all those who have fought for our freedom...God bless America! I love Independence Day because I am grateful to live in America and of course for fireworks! Sweet Caleb loves celebrating freedom too in his "Happy 4th" onesie from his Aunt Lissa!

Happy Birthday to John on June 24th! We celebrated his birthday along with Uncle Ryan's, which was on June 27th...two great excuses for some delicious cake!

The Lavey gals came for a visit on June 23rd! I can't believe Frances was 8months old when I started babysitting and Mary Sparks provided me with newborn baby experience (which has come in handy!) Look at them now...great young ladies! Thank you all for coming to see us. We love you all!

Caleb was dedicated to the LORD on June 21st! We pray for his salvation and that he will come to know and love the Lord at a young age. John & I are so thankful for our parents that have reared us to have relationships with Jesus & been models of Godly parents that we can follow! We are also thankful for our church family and for Adam's sweet dedication service.

A visit from the Clemmons!

Caleb & Sydney (and Syd's babydoll)
We were so glad that Drew, Allison & Sydney could make the long drive up to Kentucky to visit us over the weekend of June 21st. We love seeing you guys so much and appreciate you all coming. Don't worry Drew we will bring you some hot dogs & burgers next time we visit!

Father's Day

God has blessed John & I with such wonderful fathers! We are both so thankful for each of them. John got to join the best of them this year, his first ever Father's Day. Caleb is one lucky boy to have such a great dad!
